Before we start a design we like to understand the project and to understand what it is you want to provide your customers. Then we can take this information and advise on how best to achieve your goals.

We firstly look at the overall balance of the centre, weighing up the percentages of floor and wall space dedicated to different facilities. How much should be for general climbing and training and how much for children's activities, cafe or retail areas, changing facilities, toilets, office space etc. All this will depend on the market you're catering for and your business strategy.


Once the spaces have been assigned we then focus on what the wall should offer, how much should be dedicated to beginners, intermediate and elite level climbing as well as training and warming up areas. The aim is to provide a full range of climbing styles and to get the difficulty balance to match the grade spread of your customers for optimum satisfaction.
